Li is a Chinese illustrator based in Singapore. She is in her final year of a Diploma in Fine Arts at the LASALLE College of the Arts, specialized in painting.

Since early childhood, Li had a fond passion for creating drawings from imagination and making up stories. She has been making illustrations and writings as a freelancer for Singapore Press Holdings, producing content for newspapers and websites.

About Me

It was written in The Little Prince that “all grown-ups were once children... but only a few of them remember it.”

I hope to be that few.

In creating my art, I try to reconsider our world, the things we do and see every day, from a child's view.

I enjoy creating children’s illustrations and at the same time greatly admire the old masterpieces of traditional fine arts. Thus my work is a blend of both.

My illustrations have the style and narratives of kid literature together with the color and techniques of symbolism and Impressionism periods.

I find this unique combination surprisingly fitting to my story as they are sometimes absurd with a saturated color palette that looks just like a child's pick on color.
